Gutted,
I'd never take mine anywhere NEAR a Nissan garage

HOLT SHIT! I presume they've taken FULL responsibility?

Yeah, it's all on their insurance but I have to drive a Micra for the next 2 weeks Still, I get a nice new bonnet and bumper from it so bye, bye stone chips for free!!! (Looking on the bright side!)Originally Posted by Richy_Boy

Hmm, maybe they can reverse into mine too then
Good result!
Rich
Shit - bastards!
They should hopefully do a good job of fixing that up though
dam man
Could you request a carbon one if its cheaper
Doesn't seem to be a good days for people reversing and 200's.....
Nissan have an appalling main dealer network in general i think, i have had mine in 4 seperate dealerships in the south east each time they have tried to sting me for stuff that werent needed or scratch the motor.

i assure you my mates looked much worse after it'd been to nissan.
drivers side front window put through with crow bar marks on the door. rear windscreen put through with a brick, damaging the rear 1/4 pillar. ripped leather on the back seat, head unit, snooper S6R neo and some cash stolen.
They had a secure compound, and left it parked outside the road in a dodgy area, where a few cars had been done over recently.
Nissan are useless. If you think they're customer service is bad you should try knocking cars together for them. i did, briefly.
LOL, it's funny you should say that, not long after I bought my 200 (about 4 years ago)Originally Posted by MEL
I took it to a Nissan dealer in Ewell, (Wilsons I think) one of the mechanics drove me to the train station as they didn't have a courtesy car.
He lurched out of the car park and said 'oh dear, think your clutch is on the way out'
I mentioned that the car had done less than 16,00 miles at the time and that it had only just run in!
Cheeky feckin' twat, the same clutch is still going stron today with a 3071 on there!

Make bits fall off the front brakes after new pads fitted - checkOriginally Posted by arry

'Bed in' new rear pads by driving around industrial estate with my handbrake on - check
Fill up brake fluid before changing said pads so that when i get home its trying to escape from the top - check
Use wrong viscosity oil in gearbox - check
Repeatedly sent service feedback forms with my name spelt wrong after being told on 4 occassions to change it - check
Apart from that i'd say they were average for a nissan main dealer - a costly lesson learnt
Thats unlucky ,see if they will let you have the slightly damaged bumper for a few quid and sell it on,they'll probably only sling it.
You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!
I'd tell them i wanted a cash settlement and take it elsewhere, theres no way i would leave my pride and joy in the hands of those numpties for two weeks so the apprentices can check out who is the best drifter
Then take the cash to Apex or somewhere similar for carbon goodness
It's the best way to look at it . Shame it had to happen at all really . To be fair, it could have happened at any garage, not just a Nissan one. That said, after hearing all the horror stories, I wouldn't let Nissan anywhere near my carOriginally Posted by RichM
It's not such an issue with S13s because not having main dealer SH doesn't affect resale values as much, but the only time I ever go near a Nissan dealership is when I need to buy parts that I can't get anywhere else.
At all other times I drive past and give them the finger
I mean, it took them two weeks to actually manage to order an S13 Silvia wing (it'll be another 6-8 for it to arrive), and I gave them the damned part number!!!

Bloody hell Rich your not having much luck recently!
That reminds me - still got to get the dent fixed, courtesy of my nissan dealer.
The service manager keeps fobbing me off saying he'll speak to his bodyshop people. Think its been a year now.....
