    Fitting fuel pressure gauge

i'm not seen this at the general guide to mods,so i ask you if someone has a guide to fit the fuel pressure gauge.

now,i know that i must put a "t" in one of the pipe of standard fuel pressure regulator, and then fit the pressure sender to the "t".
do u have any pics that can show me where is that pipe???

a friend tell me that is the pipe which goes from regulator to the injectors rail.
but i don't succeed to find it

cheers to all and sorry for my bad bad english!

left hand side of your engine you should be able to find the fuel filter.
one hose on the bottom of it, one on top.
you "T" into the one going from the filter (the one on top) to the fuel pressure regulator.

    hope that helps

    yeah,i've understand!

but,in the filter-fpr pipe the pressure is the same as in the pipe fpr-rail injectors?
i remember that a lot of times ago someone tell me that i can't read the prex in the pipe on top of fuel filter...why?

wippy thank you so much mate...i'm waiting!

yes mine is mechanical so you must fit the sender on the t- piece where my black pipe comes out , so you need a t-piece with a threaded outlet so you can screw your sender unit in

    perfect...

a last question...my frien say that fitting a "t" conncetor on the pipe which goes from fuel filter to fpr the pressure readed is at the fuel pump, not at the fpr...for reading correctly the fpr pressure needs to fit the "t" in the other pipe, which goes fpr-injectors rail.

    what do u think?

the pipe which goes from the fuel filter is the one which goes to your injectors yes it comes from the pump but it will read the actual pressure which is going to your injectors , the only other pipe is the one out of the regulator which goes back to the tank and you will only read relief pressure there. dont worry it is the right way to do it

I prefer the uprated fuel pump route, personally.

No, the thing that pumps the fuel from the fuel tank to the fuel pressure regulator.

what he is trying to say is that it is also advisable to fit an uprated fuel pump because the standard ones are not very good
