    £123 for my S15.

A guy on the UJCC paid £80 for his £8k Skyline.

According to the latest Evo Mag (85) HIC are throwing in trackday insurance with all policies, but with an extra £500 XS and as long as you are not negligent.

I'd check it out with them first

    However, they won't insure imports.

I just had a quote from CCI and they said £65 for one days insurance at Donnington with my 97 R S14a value £5000. Not bad.. but then I added up all the extras and it starts to mount up:

    £99 for the track day
    £65 for Insurance
£70-£100 Petrol - Travel to and from + one tank for the track.
    £10 Food & Drink
    etc..

but it's all good fun.. so who cares about the price..

I must admit that the smallprint contains a lot of worrying and contentious clauses but I believe the excess on mine is closer to 1k.

I've got an agreed value with them for the car though so I imagine that overall it would work out Ok if something did happen (touch wood )

What did you value yours at by the way? Im with HIC on a classic policy with an agreed value of £4.5K.

Yeah, i'm on a classic policy too.

It's currently valued at 3k but i've got to get it re-valued as it's worth lots more now and thats just in the second hand value of the parts.

I phoned them up yesterday out of interest and the main clauses are that the excess is 2k unless you can prove previous trackday experience it then falls to 1k. To be insured the event must be run by a professionaly recognised club although the guy did hint that if the event has marshalls it can be considered 'proper'.
