Does my lude have an LSD?

OK, there are no stickers inside the doors to indicate that it has but:

it has no 4WS but if you scrabble scrabble it will not - i repeat NOT - give any torque steer at all, even under serious abuse.

going around tight corners quickly with the gas on is an interesting experience as it feels like the wheels are spinning differently. Never had this in a FWD car.

If it breaks traction in 3rd (yes, I have had it do this), the front bounces up and down like the back of my Starion used to.

Going around a very tight S bend in the wet tonight, it felt like it wanted to understeer and not throw me thru the apex.

    so, the SXOC decides...
    what do you folks reckon?

As far as I can remember the really high spec Preludes have an LSD as standard.

...just go round a corner really fast and get the wheels spinning while you turn way too much - if just the one inside wheels goes nuts and spins and squeels then it doesn't have one. also FWD cars with LSD's suffer more torque steer in my experience.

The Jap spec '87 import that I used to have had an LSD, very fast as I recall, probably faster than my ***** in a straight line, glven enough road that is.

    Hi mate

There is a code written somewhere on the gearbox casing. If it reads M2B4 then you are in luck
Edited to say: how the hell are you breaking traction in 3rd

I once had a FWD car that had an LSD (dont want to admit what it was here) and it did not torque steer, it would would just throw me into a big 'tank slapper'. It was 311BHP by the way

    Firstly, mention it and die!
Or hint at it and die!
Rather not be in your shoes if you do!
Did I just give it away?

Never thought I would see the words Lude and LSD in the same sentence by one as conservative as Stazza

    Good work that man
