    Budget Predictions?

How much do you think Gordon Brown's going to punish us for owning cars in tomorrow's Budget?

Plenty of room for increasing the price of that in the future then.

My guess is he'll start charging VAT on VAT.

In all seriousness theres already a precedent for charging tax on tax. When I imported my car they added import duty @ 10% then charged VAT on the whole bloody lot

I wonder if they would then charge VAT on the VAT on the VAT

But think of all the improvements in public services we'll get as a result of all the new indirec taxation we'll be getting.

I hope he also increases the red tape for businesses as well, cos there just isn't enough at the moment. Oh and raise employer NI contributions Gordon, so we can pay for the shitty NHS as well as have to pay for all our employees to have private care

    The irony of it

All departments to improve efficiency by 2.5%. How will this be measured and what measures are going to be in place to achieve this.

8 billion extra for Education How much of that is money that has already been anounced?

The usual load of toss from the shitest government we've ever had.

Too right. I just hope (fat chance) the British public aren't stupid enough to give them another go at screwing us over.
