how much can you do a Z32 afm for jez? already have the injectors n other such bits.

and do i need any type of fuelling control? S-AFC or similar? Or does the chip take care of all of this?

    Hi Arry

The chip will sort out the fuelling and ignition Although, if you wanted to, you could use an AFC to fine tune the map to your specific car.

A chip and AFM will be £275. Email me if you're interested

    Cheers

what sort of costs are involved in having her rolling road setup afterwards jez? She will be all over the place as it will not have been set up at all for even the T28 let alone the other mods to go around it

arry: to be honest you won't need to set the car up on the rollers - I can check and adjust the ignition timing and check the fuelling throughout the rev range. If you'd like a power graph this can be arranged - I'll have to do some ringing round at the time to see which set of rollers are free.

bearvertron: A T28 at 16psi will get you at least 285bhp - this is the figure Jeff got at the weekend under very unfavourable conditions (ambient temps of >40deg C )

A part ex won't be a problem - email me and we can sort it out

Heres the graph from my car. Max power is 300.5bhp but please remember this was done in very bad conditions. The cooling at the rolling road was awful - my engine overheated even with a custom radiator 3 times thicker than standard - normally the temp gauge doesn't budge at all, even on trackdays in the summer. The ambient temps were 43deg C

I also have doubts about the transmission losses - theres a great big step at about 5500rpm - wheel slip maybe? I'm going to get it RR'd again soon

    Anyway, enough excuses:

    That's a much better curve now Jez - 300 horses! ..... I want one!!

Just need to get the AFM & injectors and I will part ex my recently purchased Stage 2 if that's ok.

btw - did you get a bit of wheelspin on the rollers at about 5500rpm? There seems to be a blip in drag & torque at that point

I've got 2 sets of AFMs and injectors in stock at the moment

I'm not sure what happened at 5500rpm - something did though

Going to get it RR'd again soon.

You HAD to go and say that didn't you! I had told myself that 270bhp was enough until you said that!

    injectors fit straight in

depending on the car type (cat or non-cat) you will be able to modify the plug to fit the Z32 AFM. Non-cats can be made to fit, cats can't.

My car is a K reg facelift and it had a cat on it.

Do I just need to source a new plug and solder it onto the loom in place of the other one ?

if so have you any contacts for these plugs.

Fraid I've not got any plugs - someone from the board go me mine.

You can pop the pins out of the std plug and they fit in the Z32 plug - no soldering required
