side ones?
which do you mean the ones in the front bumper on the sides or the normal ones on the panel
for the ones on the panel i bought white ones for a mazda 626
they fir nicely with an very little work needed ande they are a bit smaller
but i heard that the white ones from the almere would be a straight swap

I bought them.. arrrgh
I have an s14a, and bought the nissan replacement lights for the front indicators - including the 10 % sxoc discount from Glyn hopkin Nissan it came to about 50 ish for both front lights.
the sides were Almera ones, and they look like (on face value) to be identical... but the connectors are all wrong!!
I got in a huff and left em in the box but fitted the front ones.
The connectors are angled and dont appear to fit like the 200sx s14a ones.. Maybe its just me - apart from the rest of it, they seemed like identical units..
I will scratch my head and have a think..

If you put orange bulbs in and you can see them through the clear lense put a light spray of silver paint on then and they will still flash orange but not look it when not flashing!

easiest way to remove the orange lenses is to break off the 4 little tabs with a screwdriver (the bits with red round them)
Then put the indicators lense-down in the sink and fill the indicators 1/2 full with boiling water. leave for 2 minutes or until you can feel a fair bit of heat on the outside of the plastic. Then place a large screwdriver or bar through the hole for the bulb, press down on the lense with that and pull the rest of the indicator upwards. Do this carefully so as not to scald yourself. I tried a couple of other methods but that chewing gum glue stuff they use is impossible if you don't heat it. They come off fairly clean with this method.

Ahh! Now there's the difficult bit. I can't find suitable textured plastic anywhere (including DIY stores).

just a couple of suggestions for places that might sell plastic like what you need
to me it looks like the same kinda plastic light covers that is used in suspended ceilings, with the squares of white tiles every couple of tiles you get a square light cover, so maybe a lighting specialist maybe able to help
the plastic also looks like what the shower cubicle doors in caravans were made from, so a caravan spares place or camping shop perhaps
hope this helps

do a www.yell.co.uk search for plastic shops.
there's loads in Birmingham, I can only assume there are everywhere else too

Yep, that's what I meant by a fluorescent light cover
