TIM boost guage - any good?

When i bought the car it had one fitted (BAR only - no psi). Are they any good, the readings seem to differ from day to day.
Showing 0.8 - 1 bar with following mods- Saab FMIC, FBU, Mongoose, K&N, Jez Stage 1

I do a lot of Autometer gauges because, although not the cheapest (boost gauges start at £46 with fitting kit) , they are accurate and well built. Have a look here:

I got a Tim gauge and I keep on hearing that they are crap, but i like it because it goes with my name!!

Lots of people have got in the car and said how much did it cost to have your name put on that!!
