    Insurance deal for club members

Thanks to Nathan for his email.

I've contacted a company regarding a deal for club members. This will include limited mileage policies, with track day cover and the option to use your NCB for a 2nd car if you wish. This is just for starters, as I've also asked about insurance for other events, euch as POD runs, or Crail / North Weald. I've also covered the all important replacement of mods etc like for like.

I'll have some more news in a few weeks time, as the insurance broker has to go to the underwriters and ask for the discounts for us first and then sort us out accordingly.

I'll post again when I have more details.

    Excellent Smithers....

I take it they will be mod freindly? The second car policy is a very good option, probably the most important for me.

David, I'll do my best for you. Problem is, the girl who deals with it is now on holiday for a few weeks. She has passed it to the boss and hopefully, he'll be on the ball and make those phone calls to the underwriters and get something sorted. I'm assured he'll contact me as soon as it's been sorted. Then I'll have more details.

and yes, they are mod friendly. They already do this deal for 2 other jap cars.

    Thumbs up

To give you a clue, my mate has a GT4 he didnt declare any mods or that it was an import to the last insurance company, called these guys and declared everything, boost upgrade, wheels, dump valve, suspension, blitz exhaust, induction kit and told them it was imported. Result = they quoted £400 cheaper with free track insurance.
The only thing they require is that he stays a member of the club, even more reason to join up then

    Yeah, cheers again Nathan.

They did stress that it would only be available to paid up members of the club and they check with the club every year too! If you're not a member and want to take out the policy, you'll have 30 days to join the club or they cancel your policy straight away!

I've contacted a company regarding a deal for club members.

This must be an omen. . I was only thinking about this last night but then it slipped my mind. Will be well interested to hear the results.
