have you heard the phrase cheap sh*t sometimes you need to spend a bit extra to get the quality

i paid £220 for mines which i thought was good and they are a piece of piss to fit & set up

As far as S13’s go I have no idea.
The stock control system on the S14 is the best IMHO. I have driven loads of modded 14’s but the throttle pedal is never proportional to the power output. That's why I put mine back to stock

I have just sorted one out for you timbo...... had a rummage and found my old vic20 computer and some valves from an old amp.... just looking at the s13 ecu pinout and laying down the plans for the loom interface.... it's gonna be a goodun and only £149.99 to you, well inside your budget

I'll install it tomorrow as the car back in at the mo....

just ripped mine out and gone back to blitz sbc, as you know tim

biggest problem for me with avcr was that for all that money it doesn't feature a 'boost cut', when other controllers half the price do still amazed the old xspower 28rs held up to the 2.3bar bashing it got going to bristol the other month

seemed like every time you got the thing learning, then thought you'd got it to hold stable boost it'd suddenly decide to pop up and say 'no actually i think 4bar is the best boost right now'

I just got hold of a Blitz Duel SBC second hand for a ton, have not set it up yet and may give it a go this weekend.
