Errors In The Workshop Manual

I am sure you are all familiar with the workshop manual for the S14 and supliment for the S14a Link

There are a number of errors in the manual. I thought a thread highlighting these, and correcting the mistakes would be useful.

I'll happily look after this thread, using this post as an index, with ONE error per post please.

You can see the sort of thing on my next post.

can we keep it neat and factual, with no "ohh, yeah, how do i do this....type posts"

Electric Window Switch Illumination 2

Description of error
The illumination of the switch is shown in the pdf to be controlled by the lighting circuit. This is not the case. The bulb in the switch is powered directly from the live supply to the switch, so if the ignition is on, the switch is illuminated. It does not operate in conjunction with any other light circuit.
