    Oil for the runabout

I need to do an oil change on the Leon but the Opie website only seems to recommend long life oils. What are my choices that are not long life?

    Car details:
    Seat Leon 1M, 53 plate (2004)
    Engine:
    150bhp TDI (ARL)
    Manufacturer recommended oil spec:
    VW 505.01
    Slightly modified, nothing crazy.

I used to buy Castrol Edge 5W-40 fully synthetic (505.01 spec) from a local shop, but they closed down about 6 months ago. The nearest place to get that oil locally is probably now Halfords (involves a special trip of several miles), so I'm investigating new options.

    Hi

The website only lists the longlife option as we can only offer one spec per model, so we go for the longlife for the VW group cars.

Here are the 505.01 oils that we have.
