    R33 gtst front brakes

I have noticed a few people run these as upgrades for front, was just wondering what the difference is between them against the stock 14 brakes? And do they just bolt straight on?

They are alloy opposed to the steel 14 ones, reducing the unsprung weight on the front.

Don't the ally ones seize up less too?

S14 discs are 280mm diameter and the calipers at made of pigiron. R33 GTST discs are 296mm diameter and the calipers are alloy. They both use the same pads and same brake hose/pipe fitting.

I've wondered about this, 280mm S14 and 296mm GTST discs use the same pad? Surely the pad won't cover the full 296 disc?

Not quite but covers enough of the disc, and obviously being a larger disc it cools more effectively. Anyway never mind those, I'm going to sell you my Brembo GT kit I'll be tagging you in a bookface advert tomorrow.
