What is the difference between R and S ?

I presently use the S in 10/50 as the 10/40 isn't available in S, but would prefer to use 10/40.

10/40 is available in R for only a couple of quid more (and both on your present buy 5 litres get 1 litre free offer ) , but there isn't any clear explanation of the difference between S and R on your website or Fuchs' website either.

Any help appreciated.
