What would you do with your car in the event of your death

Bit of a morbid post. But I have been thinking about this recently as I have to write a will as I am buying a property.

Although I have monetary assets that will be redistributed, one of my bigger assets (in terms of investment is my 200sx)

I'm trying to work out what I would do with in in case of my death.

Is it selfish that I would want any one else to have it as I have built it from the ground up and then them taking credit for it?!

    What would you do

In the event that I still own mine at the time of my passing it will be bequeathed to a mate.

Yes, your dead, what else would you plan to do with it, scrap it?

I would pass it on to a family member, little brother as he would appreciate it for what it is and understands how much it actually means to me.
He would be free to do what he want's with my car, weather that be keep it, modify it, pass it to someone else or sell it.
I would like my car be used until it's own natural death tbh.

I should probably do a will now I've bought a place. If my estate went to my parents they'd send the Nissan straight to the nearest scrapyard without a second thought.

Knowing my lack of driving skills V's the power mine's likely to end up with, the odds are that I'll DIE driving the car, - so not a problem.

If I die otherwise, It'd go to my bezzy mate, who has never owned a RWD car, & the most poky of his scrabblers had 255hp. He'd probs be buried within a month of me!

yeah, in the event of my death, I have told my wife to use the money from the life insurance to get the car towed to the scrap yard and pay off the council for the damage to the street furniture I took out BEFORE splashing it all on a holiday in Vegas

But in all seriousness, when you get married and have kids ...... you don't really give a crap about the car in the event of your death .... I hope she gets a good deal on it and uses the money to support her and the kiddy

I'd have mine cremated at the same time as my dead old carcass

Car would be least of my worries - I'd not have any worries as I'd be dead. Chances are, my wife would lay claim to everything - she already does that though, even with me being alive. If she worked out I'm worth near a million quid dead I don't think I'd be around for very long after.

House, contents, jewellery, car, bikes etc at the moment, should we both die, would go to the state. I must get round to sorting that will - but I'm struggling to think of anyone I'd give anything to anyway.

It'd go to my brother, cars are a hobby we both share. It'd be with a note though, telling him he can sell it if he wants, as long as he gets what the parts/car are worth lol!

I'd have it crushed into a small cube, which can be placed atop my coffin.

Either that or make my coffin out of the car, either way I'm pretty sure my Mrs would burn whatever car I own, and do a voodoo dance around it of joy

I'd have my friends break it and the money split into my family. Wouldn't want them holding onto it the car a somber reminder.
