vari-lux - probably calling it the wrong thing, its different names in different places - the "auto tinting" lens's

EDIT: "Transitions" are what vision express are calling them....

my mrs has 5 pairs of Oakley RX specs with them in and they look like decent Oakley sunglasses when out in the sun and normal glasses inside.

I have the Oakley RX "Clubface" specs and they are proper comfy even all day infront of a computer screen:

You intending to wear these at night while driving?

Plod might pull you for trying to be cool with shades on in the dark lol.

I guess I'll be intending on wearing them all the time... hence wanting something I am already comfortable with and used to, I think Who knows, going to glasses shop on Saturday to see what's what

FWIW I need to get some specs for when I'm working - maybe for all the time...

I'm going for Rayban Wayfarer Specs and maybe a prescription sunglass if I need to

    Wayfarers always look good

I am more of an Oakley Half-Jacket sort of wearer, that's what I have aside from my Gatorz and I like them, if I could get some nice clear prescription lenses for them I think they'd be great, as a minimum for driving and badminton they'd be great as they're night and light and dont fall off or move, like ever, which is nice!

So, my XLJ Half Jackets have transitions prescription lenses for £269.

I can get some clear Gatorz for a bit less.

Tomorrow I go to the nice chap who did my eye test, and find out what they can do, as I feel I ought to give them the chance to offer something as they have been helpful thus far, maybe they can talk some sense into me I am taking wife also, so maybe she will get sense into my brain...

    So... settled on a compromise.

This was what I was working with:

I tried on so many, but finding glasses is harder than I thought. Hopefully wont have to do it again soon!
