    Quick Power FC Question

I've got a JDM S14a with Power FC, bought it fitted and it has no hand commander. One has come up for a S14 and I was wondering if the hand commanders are all generic to the Power FC unit? I know the loom is different between 14 and 14a's and my JDM 14a has no NATS, but if the FC is already fitted and working can I just plug and play the hand commander? Cheers.

There are a few different versions, the newer ones are usually backwards compatible.

Cheers mate I'll have a look at mines when I'm out at the car later and check the serial number on it.

Should work fine with an FCC3 commander

From what I can tell, the older serial no is YYMM - XXXX. The newer is ### - XXXX where ### is the batch number i.e 010, 020, 030. So it would appear I have a newish FC, but Ben is right that Hand Controller is the latest version. The serial number of it looks like it's a 415-X001 type, which upon googling means it should be compatible.

Before I commit to the buy do any gurus happen to know if I'm 100% correct?

    Quick Power FC Question

For anyone else in a similar situation:

    http://www.trinituner.com/v3/forums/...c.php?t=128244

That was useful for finding out what the part number of the FC was using the serial number on the unit itself. Mines starts with SR2016 therefor it was a 414-N016 part number.

I then googled the serial number of the Hand Commander (starting FCC3) to find its part number and went through FRSport using the part number to find compatibility.
