    Welcome aboard.

As Chris suggests, start a thread in S-body related but supply as much detail as you can about what car you are interested in as the 200/Silvia family ran for 4 different generations with 2 completely different engines.

Very roughly, you are looking at either 80s/90s pop-up models (S12, S13) running a "CA" 1.8 turbo or 90s/00s non-pop-up models (S14/14a, S15) running an "SR" 2.0 turbo although there are some Japanese Domestic Market models that are a mix.

Each has their own strengths and weaknesses.

    It'll be the wash-behind-the-actuator-arm trick.

I wouldn't recommend trying to get anything for nothing from these cars as usually they will come back and bite you.

If you must turn up the boost, a good ball-and-spring manual boost controller can be had from Apex for sub-50 quid.

Before doing any performance mods, I'd recommend you make sure the car has been serviced, (cambelt changed on a CA), fuel pump replaced and fuel filter changed.

If you crank the boost up to 12-13 psi you should be OK as long as you run it on super unleaded and warm it up/cool it down properly.

I'm assuming that the exhaust isn't standard given that its got wheels and a silvia badge
