    rb26dett air and water way heat sink thingy :P

    I dont know exactly what it is called hence the title lol, here is a picture to aid:



    arrow points to the bit of the manifold im talking about and the circle is the location of what im going to ask; so the question around the circled area is there some kind of valve or ball bearing or something of the kind. as when i move it around but only is certain directions i can here something rattle/move around in there

    Fast Section 148 secondary air system, doesn't show that side
    I think it's "PLUG ASSY-AIR RELIEF".

    Which in other words is the manifold coolant bleed screw. As it is above the rad cap, you need a head of coolant at the rad to get coolant out. Otherwise you let air which will prevent the coolant expansion system working correctly. It won't have correct coolant pressure to prevent local boiling, which results in local overheating as steam bubbles don't conduct heat.

    No thank you very much that's great information. At least that leads to the impression of there being some kind of valve behind there. So I'm less worried now
