Mines been broken for a while. I played with the settings changing it for instant to daily a week back but it does not seem to have done anything . Just got a PM notification today but still no threads

I don't have reply notifications turned on, but not having emails when new PMs come in is really annoying.

That can happen to a longstanding member, getting notes from Tapatalk, but no emailed from the forum. That is common.
In your 2015 case, you should be getting both. PM on the way.
