What do you need to get sorted in the next 4 months ready to attack Rockingham Raceway ??

    I'll start:
MOT - CheckTax - Will tax from 1/7/15 - If i do it today i'll have to pay for a wasted monthInsurance - CheckNew fuel pump - Have but not fitted - Problem was a massive boost leak - SortedNew spark plugs - See above
Hopefully fit GEO Masters !! Probably wont happen before the WeekenderStill not running right after my aborted attempt to come to Snetterton last year and havent touched it since. Main plan, get it running ASAP then worry about fitting fancy bits.

So, what ya gotta do ??? GO !!!
So, its working and almost road legal. Going to run it daily for a couple days a week to make sure its all good while I'm working fairly local and not mess with anything until the winter.

I've finally spent some money - New front calipers ordered plus some decent pads (It has emergency yellow stuff in at the mo and they're rubbish )
Once they're fitted All I need to do is get new tyres and actually pay up once I'm payed at the end of the month

Got the big 3, tax, MOT, Insurance. New brake pads are on the way as they don't feel right. New gaskets ordered as I was going to run with the CAT full time to save messing around swapping out for MOT every year but it's horrible with it. Get pads fitted up and re-bleed brakes, swap out CAT for decat and I'm good to go I think

    Callipers fitted
I have a sneaky suspicion that the front brakes were down to about 2 or 3 pistons after the Cadwell day earlier this year - that or the Yellow stuffs were worse than I thought

It's nice being able to stop again

I also bought some Goodridge Speed Bleeders, if you have trouble getting help when doing work then buy some - Took 20 seconds to fill and bleed the new callipers once on the car!

    Ah, erm... Bugger.
Might have just had to send my rear callipers away today for a refurb
'it normally takes a week to turn them around' - That's not cutting it tight at all then

rebuilding calipers is pretty simple, just need to get the pistons out which could be the hard part but then clean, change the internal seal and then rebuild.

One of the 180's rears was too far gone - As a result I spent far to long yesterday getting some S14 ones fitted
On the plus side after breaking in the new tires and pads yesterday evening it now stops better than it has in (quite literally) years

If I don't appear tonight it means a wheels fallen off most likely and I'm having a massive paddy at it
