Yes there is 2nd spec in the ECU pinout.

For stock S13 it's 1.6V idling and 2.2V at 2,500 rpm no load.
    While bench test is
Approx 1V static and approx 2v blowing.

Trouble is any Z manual will have idle and high idle voltage for a 3L engine sucking on it, so you need to find the bench test.

Where have you earthed the maf? Mine would only run with maf disconnected when I had a chassis earth, but when I eaethed it on the engine it worked perfectly. Not a clue why.

So did you connect both earths to the chassis or just one and the other to original afm wiring?

I have just connected pin D to engine and no difference!

So check the +12v and ground at the ecu??

Can't see how I would of developed a wiring issue from swapping maf's but will check it to rule it out.

You've rewired it to fit a different AFM, haven't you ?

I thought you were going from an S13 AFM to a Z32 AFM

I just think you should check for continuity on all 4 wires into the AFM because...

All you've done is change the wiring and change the AFM.

You've swapped the AFM for a known good one so...

Either the wires/connectors were damaged when you rewired
    OR
    Your re-wiring is wrong.

So, find the other end of the wires on the wiring diagram. I've not looked at the diagram so I'm probably wrong but I thought there was power, earth and two signal wires to the ECU on a 4-pin AFM.
