Fuel Pump Carrier - what now?

    So guys,

Today I made it my task to get the car up and running but as I have turned the ignition on to prime the engine I have found there must be a crack in one of the metal pipes on the bend. This is shit but is there any way to fix it and avoid taking it off the car and rewiring the fuel pump? I know its not a mega job just want to know if anyone has any suggestions before I pull it out for a used one.

    Thanks in advance

Will it not seal if you push the pipe right on so it covers it and put the clamp as close as poss to the housing?

Personally i would replace it its so easy why dont you want to?
