    New valves in sr20det

Hey guys. Im just putting new valves in my sr20det, after i got it back from the machine shop. Do you guys normally lap the valves yourself, og do you get the machine shop to do this for you?
Its Brian Crower valves. Std size. My plan is to take it to the machine shop afterwards to make them vakumtest it. To make sure the valves are lapped in well. But what do you guys preffer?
    cheers

But can you lap the valves yourself and still make them seal perfectly ?

are you aware that you will need to re-shim your head to take any differences in stem height of the new valves into account?

if you don't you risk issues with rocker arms coming off.
