Wow not a single company has come close to or beaten my renewal quote for this year!

Tried ALL the usual suspects but no luck at all. Really considering getting rid of the S15 for this reason as it always seems to be a challenge to get insured even with my super clean history and over 10 years no claims.

    S15 Spec R Insurance

I don't think £400 is bad, it is an S15 that isn't on a lot of people's books as you know. Mine was a lot more than that when I had it but I'm guessing you might be older than me. My PS13 I have now is around the £400 mark but that is with 3000 miles a year.

If you are considering getting rid just because you have to ring a few specialist insurers then it sounds a bit of a daft reason to me. Pay it and get out and have a nice drive!

Mines come to £290 for the year with just 1000 miles. Just surprised nobody has beaten it this year that's all.

You're right it is a special car so is bound to be different with things like insurance etc. Sometimes I just wish it was a bit easier.
