Argos now have this compact/SLR for £199 with Interchangeable lenses.
Coupled with the Magic Lantern Firmware, you have a low cost alternative to Black Magic.
How many low cost Cameras can shoot in 1080P RAW?

I've got an EOS M - it replaced a Sony NEX with a lens adaptor to take my EOS SLR lens collection. PC World had it on offer a year or so back for £219 with the EFS lens adaptor, and a £50 cashback from Canon
It's actually a really, really nice camera - they got slated when they came out as the AF speed was terrible, but with the new firmware it's pretty decent - not as quick as a full blown DSLR but plenty quick enough to use. Picture quality is arguably better than the NEX as well.
I've looked at the magic lantern firmware, but I think there's still a few bugs which put me off installing it, just usability issues, not show stoppers. But then again I hardly ever use the video function anyway....
Thanks Jonny
Looking at it as a low cost option to learn how to shoot video using manual focussing techniques
sound is often the limiting factor with these. They pic up a lot of 'body' sound. AF sound is also very noticable but if you are manual focusing that shouldn't be too bad, except you will pick up the noise of your fingers shuffling over the controls - try one in a shop and look at the playback with headphones on.
1080p raw? heck what you got to store the data on??? a google datacentre??
Yeo you can plug an external powered mic that sits on the hot shoe
