    Auto to manual transmission help

Hi guys I need some serious help, I have completed the auto to manual conversion, now it's on to the wiring, I have the reverse lights work, I am just stuck on getting the netural postion switch work, can someone please help me with how to wire this in,
I have read the threads linked to it, I can make sense of it apart from it tells me to find the Orange and green wire from the switch harness, can someone tell me where I can find the switch harness I am very confused

Doesn't it have to know when it's in gear to engage vvt?

Ok matey, and I wouldn't have thought the vvt would matter as it's just the postion of netural that is the issue not when it's going into gear because atm the car is running fine apart from when you put the clutch in it drops to 1200rpm then when I come to a complete stop it then drops to idle

I tried grounding it but it appeared not to work, so I either didn't choose the right wire or it just doesn't work, there was two green and orange wires next to each other so I tried to find an ecu diagram and they didn't seem to match up but on the diagram I found number 35, it was five in from the end so I counted five in and it was one of the two green and orange wires so I cut it from the ecu. I then used the green and Orange wire I cut coming out of the ecu add some 5amp wire to it then grounded that, does that sound right.

So you just split the wire and added some wire in and grounded it surely that wouldn't work, because if it's still connecting to the ecu surely it's getting the signal but I will try doing what you have done and just splice into it and add a ground into it and see what happens
