Ok sorry I remembered wrong. My wheels are ET20 so with the 3mm spacers they would be ET17. Anyway 18x11 ET24 would have about 5mm more clearance to the lower arm than mine. Which coilovers do you have?
I took a couple of photos of the clearance to the lower arm. Clearance to the coilover is about the same. (HSD HR)

If you want to drive fast get the higher et rims, but if you want to go for the all show no go direction go ahead and fit the low et rims to stock arches.

I have HSD Mono Pros I drive a 200 of course I wanna go fast.. but my worry is I won't fit the 11js on standard arches / without hitting coilys or lower arms.

If you want decent rubber on the rear you can't use rims that poke so much. Highly stretched narrow tires and high camber is not really good for driving fast...

Depends what tyres you're using and the conditions. It isn't that cut and dry.

My car put a lot of track-day specific machinery to shame with stretched silly tyres on at Blyton Park here in the UK. Maybe it could have gone faster, but why? It was plenty fast enough and that important ingredient of "fun" not "endlessly boring grip".

This started off as a daily 18x11 et30

Granted, i could of gone with more of a flare. The lips use to catch the lips on hard cornering but when i fitted whitelines they never caught.

My mistake, can't of been et30.

The pics of when the car was blue have no spacers fitted. The back of the rim was very close to the coilover. Running 245 width tyre.

The pics when she was grey, was with a 5mm spacer and lifted by 10mm.

Whitelines are uprated anti roll bars.

Ohhh haha ok dude... Ahh I'm so unsure now!! Do I get 11j set and have to space them out and flare the arches anyway or play it safe with the 10.5j set without spacers and see if I can get away with fitting them with just rolled arches. I can get the arches flared no problem.. I just want to know which set would fit my s14a best.

Cheers for input guys and photos
