Does anyone know the name of this part and where I can locate one from?

It's a coolant pipe. I would just take it off and take it to a hose/radiator place

I've managed to glue the metal piece and pipe together using water resistant metal glue. Looks as if it is holding water however I am now getting cold air through the vents

Cold air could be an Air lock in the heater matrix so needs bleeding of the air, squeeze hoses etc
also the pipe looks kinked/bent so could be restricting its flow of water
the woven pvc covering and the near collapsed bend suggest its not the correct hose to me
I doubt nissan will have or could get one (but they might? so worth a try)
30psi a chap on here has a few bluebirds possibly PM him for spares or search a breakers yard for a better fitting hose
as long as the bore size is right it can be from any car/van tbh

Cheers Andy. Will definitely give that a try. Seems like a viable solution. The pipe does look like an aftermarket pipe which was tied up using a cable tie but managed to get the kink out so that the water runs in smoothly. Unfortunately Nissan have very limited parts available which is always going to be a struggle.

yes spares will be limited if any at nissans, the primera came out in '91 so long time out of production
most breakers yard will let you check the yard stock for a hose that will fit, some let you try them outside if it fits then you pay sort of thing
of find someone local breaking a bluebird (ebay possibly?)

That definitely doesn't look like the right hose for the job.

There are some outfits in China that are making hose kits for a CA18DET but I can't find any for the CA8ET.

If you know what internal diameter it is and think you see it in a picture on ebay for the CA18DET kit, I have one of those kits in my garage and can quote happily take extra pics or take measurements for you before you order from China.

The full 24 piece kits are usually around 100 quid posted.

Also, as Andy says, Martin (30PSI) has quite a bit of knowledge of Bluebirds.
