I'm intrigued to see if there are any reputable places for undersealing locally as well.

Is that in the heart of cradley Heath because Ive just been told of one on Colley Lane didn't know if that was the same one?
And yeah when she's running I'll be about and on the lookout for local meets, I know a few people in area but seen a few more around that I've no idea who they are haha!

    Red face

I'll keep this updated it seems the MOT garage are going to do the work themselves including undersealing, (needs new sills, was and wasn't expecting it, I know they're a common problem area, I just hadn't noticed it )

    erm..waving red flag here.
It is your decision who does the work. Sill welding being needed is normal. I've been through two cycles of that now.

I'm very lucky to have experience of more than one local garage that I trust and are capable of not cocking things up.
A cynical view maybe, and maybe your local MoT place will turn out to be good, but the line quoted above is a bit scary.

I haven't really had many leads on places anyway, anyone I've spoken to has either had a bodge job 'hide' on theirs or a 'mate did it' with no more information.
They're a good MOT company, but that's the extent of my experience with them, they have two units where I took my daily last March, which sailed through with not even one advisory. This unit was recommended by a long used mechanic by family members and always takes his customers cars to this place for tests. They're close knit working alongside and there is a bodyshop on the estate too that the mechanic I went to mentioned as he wouldn't be up to the job, so I have no doubt that the same goes for the Test/Repairs unit.

Will just have to see anyway.
