Any history, video of it running, pics under the camcovers or anything ?

That's quite a few pennies for a lump without a gearbox so you might need to justify it

im sure i have some history got a load of paper work with the car but am yet to look through it.

no video of it running unfortunately i was to eager to pull it out and put the 1jz in, i only drove it 10 miles and sounded very sweet, pulled hard and had no smoke when on boost or tickover.

previous owner was elderly so im sure its had a easy life also being a auto

i will head down the workshop tomorrow pull the cam covers off and get some more pictures.

i am open to offers on this btw.

    cheers

That is strong money for a CA motor without much to back it up.

Usually people take a compression test, oil pressure readings and a video before asking decent money.

what do CA usually go for nowadays?

the ones i have come across are incomplete and in need of a rebuild/sold as spares at around £250.

will try and get a compression test done with pictures etc.

When ?. The market has changed markedly over the last 12 months.
I saw a 40k motor go for 400 2 yrs ago. It had proven history and was clean as a whistle.

They're a bit "in vogue" with the kit car scene ATM and they don't seem to have cottoned on to the importance of oil changes on them !
I'm not suggesting there is anything wrong with yours but anyone that buys a ca without checking the history is a mug punter. Sometimes they don't get mugged but they are still mug punters.
