Black circles and camskill are pretty good for prices and can also deliver to your local fitter for you to just go along and get them fitted

Camskill for sure. 225/45/17 isn't a rare size, should be relatively cheap.

Thanks for the replies I will check them out. I had already heard of cam skill from other members so it's good that they have been mentioned again. I will check out prices and let you know what I find.

Info from sites on good year eagle f1 asymmetric 2, 225/45/17 94y

Black circles - £95.49 (fully fitted)
    Camskill - £73.05
    Tyre leader - £77.69
    Oponeo - £88

    So camskill is the cheapest.

If you can't get to your local fitter there's a mobile company called event tyres that I've used before. Would highly recommend them if you get stuck but you're obviously going to pay a premium

Going to sound weird but try Ebay. I found a seller doing deals on pairs and saved about £40.

Yea but eBay is sometimes abit of a minefield.

I know there was a problem not long ago with people selling remoulds, but the ad just said "Goodyear Eagle F1"
Then in tiny writing down the bottom it said it 'used' to be an Eagle F1, and they've slapped some remould shite on it so it's now a piece of shit

I have a set of part worn t1rs if you are interested. Don't want much for them and can take pics if you're interested. I've just bought new v105s from Ben (evilchap) for 355 for a set delivered. He's a trader on here.

I just bought some yoko v105's, very impressed so far, unfortunately they are XL and you can feel the stiffness abit more. But makes for more predictable handling! I got mine from black circles for £407 delivered for 225/40/18 and 245/40/18 pairs.

Mine are just boggo 225/45 17s all round. I'm hoping they're as good or better than the T1Rs that are coming off. The T1Rs have been very good with excellent wet grip. I only bought the v105s because I didn't think the T1Rs would last the Winter. Thing is, since I bought the V105s we've about stopped using the car so they've still got some life in them. Ho-hum. Maybe they can sit in my garage til Spring.

I wasn't that impressed with the Asymms we had on before these. I've always like GSD3 Eagles but wasn't as impressed with the Asymms. Its quite personal though I think - what people like and what they don't.
