Subaru brake on S14?

Hi,
Got a set of D2 Racing brakes on my subaru (5X114), wonder how hard is it to convert it to S14? I heard that the brakes are all the same, I only need the right bracket.

Anyone can advise?

Yeah you just need the brackets just depends if the bells are theorist height.

Ideally, I will buy the original brake for the STI, take the D2 off and put it on the S14a. The S14 currently have a R33 GTR brakes so that can take off and sell it.

Some Subarus, like the Impreza bug-eye WRX used the same 280 Sumitomo setup as the S14 have as standard so, if they'll fit the 2002-2004 WRX they'll fit the S14.

They have Brembos as standard so I have no idea if they will fit. Should be too hard to try them, should it ?

The Subaru sumitomo caliper has a different mounting bracket, along with the different disc offset and centre bore on subaru's.

I would have thought you will need different lines, disc bell and caliper adaptor brackets and then they will fit.

Ai... I thought I will only need bracket on them, might take it out and see what I find.

I'm not saying that a custom bracket won't get them to fit but the won't just bolt straight to the s14hubs
