Another E46 330 here, bog standard Tourer. Cheapo pads, tyres near the limit, one with a slow puncture, see you on track.
I'm NOT the Chairman anymore, Ken was. He still likes poo though. Its not Jim either now. Ooh ooh, its now Doc!

The 5 is ready! New tyres fitted (eventually) once they'd managed to fit wheel weights to the wheels without them hitting the caliper

Drives much better. But I'm still not convinced that it has the right steering rack on it....

I'll hopefully get it there and see how the day pans out!

There's at least 3 s-bodies making the very long trip from Norwich (2 14a's and a ps13), all 3 are booked in for track, however mine will be a late decision if it gets tracked as a few things to sort out first.

I'll be bringing my track prepped 328 E36 and hopefully be on track all day, might even do a skid. As a few others said, should have a few passenger seats available too just ask!!

I would seriously take it easy on track if your running standard pads and keep an eye on them. I wouldn't imagine they will last very long, I did a brand new set of rears in a day before

Cheap pads? Got to scrub speed off some other way... looking out for the estate car sideways halfway down the straight..

    You're going down, sucker.

Mind you, standard car could be quite stable and some of the corners look a bit bouncy...

MX5 here. Wish I still had the S15 to bring but I don't think it would have been hammered round the track like the MX5 will

Yep it's fully loaded with rear blinds, satnav, rear window hatch on tailgate, tyre pressure sensors, heated seats etc etc
(However I'm not gonna list how much of it still works lol)

First sign of commitment is getting the tyre pressure sensors shouting at you.

Been round a track in one of these as a passenger - they can grip pretty well in a "Ronin" sort of way.

Which scared the crap out of me - you'll have some fun

Well it did alright round the Ring. Apart from killing the discs and a little two wheel moment.

I'll be representing the magical triangles again on-track in my newly-acquired (standard minus the cat internals) 231bhp RX8! Got some 'fresh' part-worns on today, all the oils, filters & fluids changed for good stuff in the last 2 weeks, & I've new Mazda coils & Magnecor leads to fit as soon as I get to the campsite last-minute.com-style! Bring on the flameage!!

Unfortunately it only appears to have 1 working tyre pressure sensor

Had wheels rebalanced and tracking done this morning though so it's more likely to go in straight lines when told lol
