Glad I saw this, I thought we had the site all day, I was going to set off early saturday morning. It would have been a crap start to the weekend.

Dont know if its been posted already but where in Snett is the camp area?
I'm NOT the Chairman anymore, Ken was. He still likes poo though. Its not Jim either now. Ooh ooh, its now Doc!

    How many people are going?
Getting everyone briefed and noise tested in half an hour is very unlikely, normal drift briefing takes nearly half an hour.

I feel like someone turned over two pages at once....

Is this related to track time only or does the Weekender only start at 4-30 on Saturday ?

I did see that there was a bike track day advertised for Saturday and thought it was a bit odd.

Does it actually say anywhere that it starts Saturday evening other than in your opening post in this thread ?

Its thrown me a right googly

Just wondering how many other folks are going to end up watching bikes going round and round...or would it just have been me and Mr Carter ?

day 1 has always been a setup day for the last 6 years so it's no departure from the normal arrangements?

It would appear not everyone is aware of the normal arrangements.

Camping area, the map is somewhat vague.... http://www.snetterton.co.uk/calendar...er-person.aspx

So I'd guess where it says "access to viewing bank"... http://www.snetterton.co.uk/media/19...sn_pdf_map.pdf

Well can you get them to stick a flag up first thing then because if theres a power ranger event on the place isn't going to be empty. Is it where those links say?

I am sure it will be obvious when we get to site but to be sure, I have flagged this thread so Kieran can confirm

I will be there early to set up the kitchen, I will make sure one of the tall flags goes up as soon as the van get there

For every other weekender we have had someone on gate, ticking off names on entry, handing out wristbands, and the staff member on gate duty gives you clear instructions where to park and pitch, and even generally points you to your local area if required etc

This. Whatever specific format it takes, there will be someone to greet you on arrival, and we'll have teams of staff patrolling the site with sheepdogs to round up any wee lambs who get lost

Thanks to Kieran for organising and the staff for supporting him over the weekend. A great laugh with fantastic grub and an awesome track. My only regret is that I didn't have my car there to enjoy it to the fullest.

PS. Congrats to Jamie Gardner who won the oil in the raffle donated by my events company, Fill Her Up (www.fillherup.co.uk).
