No, the other one.
I won the auction at £775 but then there were various fees added on top, think it was £868 once I got it out of the yard.
It's not the easiest/most simple conversion but neither is it the most complex - you use the Celica gearbox (with a couple of small mods) because the ratios on the MR2 box are totally unsuitable - you would drop out of lift on every gearchange. There are parts you will need to buy from Toyota or from various companies in the US to convert the gearbox, totalling £200-250. That's unless the MR2 you have is 6 speed already, in which case you can take them from the MR2 box. You also need to make/buy a custom engine mount. There are a plethora of other custom parts you can buy from the US to make the swap easier and to get more power, but that also costs £££.
I'm trying to do mine with just the gearbox bits from Toyota UK and the engine mount.

I thought I recognized your user name on the MR2 forum.
I recently did the swap. I made my own mount from a template. I can pass it on if you like.
What are you going to do for the exhaust manifold?

No, the other one.
I recognised yours too. I got a mount made by a guy on the MR2 forum so that's sorted thanks.
Bought a nice swap manifold from Zero Exhausts in Kent
