    painting rocker covers

Sooo when it comes to painting rocker covers...
Id like to have a go as ive done bodywork before. Can it be done with rattle cans??

What sort of paint do I need to use? do I still need to do the usual priming or is there a special way to do it because of the temperatures...

All as you'd pain a normal panel mate! Mine was done 7 years ago with Halfords paints and hasn't dicoloured! and I've done a few trackdays too!

This is what I managed with rattle cans!

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

Do you have to remove the original paint first?

I did,but I don't think its necessary! as long as its flatted back and theres no oil present it should be fine!

Do you just use normal paint or high temp paint?
