I've never rated Vettel and I won't until I see some evidence of him being able to put a poor car where it shouldn't be.

I don't like the guy, but his 1st win in a torro rosso in the rain in monza was fantastic and he consistently out drove that car the whole year.

I don't like the guy, but his 1st win in a torro rosso in the rain in monza was fantastic and he consistently out drove that car the whole year.

Granted he did show a lot of talent that year, but he is a good driver - not a great one. Given the same opportunity there are at least 5 other drivers in f1 that would have outperformed him over the last 4 years...

He was lucky at Monza, their package just suited the track on that particular weekend and Hamilton/McLaren wasn't on form.

Yea he did and he drove fantastically for it, the only time in his career that he's ever driven well lol.
