    I had an idea...

No idea if this would go down well or not but just wondered if "da management" had considered having some sort of auto jumble section at the Weekender.

Most of the classic car shows do them and members with garage clearouts to do could chuck their stuff in the car and see if there were any takers.

It would save on postage and messing about with packaging.

Buyers could see what they were getting, not have to worry about "lost in the post", save on postage and stuff.

If the mods want to gauge interest, I could add a poll for

    a) Interested as a seller
    b) Interested as a buyer
    c) Not interested. Its a stupid idea.

It probably wouldn't take that much organising - maybe reserve a couple of the pit garages for it ?

All idea's like this are worth considering IMO. Work out the pro's and con's and we could have some good goers

Good idea if there is enough interest, especially for bulky items.

Also a good idea as if someone has the unfortunate incident of crashing/breaking something on track there will be loads of spare parts to get it fixed!

When I started reading that, I thought you were going to be a vulture and say they could part out what was left

Only problem would be fitting it all in the car, not usually much space left after camping gear etc.

Just bring/buy what you can fit in. Better than not bringing anything.

Sounds like a good plan, only problem I can see is not many people will be wanting to stand on there stall all day and missing the action, I'd definitely be up for buying though !
