As for music - I like the pre 85 music, but mostly listen to what's current at the moment for my other job
I'm afraid to watch New Yankee Workshop. I'm a Dad of two, with a beard and hairy upper arms. If I get into that the flannel shirts and a practical commercial vehicle are the next step.

    Wait...that's basically my Dad...

LOL. I hand built a shed (not a flat pack kit) as an escape from the tech world and loved doing it. So next project is to build a man shed worthy of Grand Designs. New Yankee Workshop teaches me the stuff that I know I won't be able to do because I don't have the right tools lol

But it has taught me the basics

See, I have wild fantasies of building things from wood and brick but I know I'd give up half way through and just be left with a few bits of wood nailed together or a foundation that gradually turned into an unwanted pond.

I watched the pilot this evening and I agree it looks pretty decent. It also made me want to catch up with the second half of Arrow season 2 which I couldnt be bothered with for ages.
I'm NOT the Chairman anymore, Ken was. He still likes poo though. Its not Jim either now. Ooh ooh, its now Doc!

Well it wasn't massively original but there's only so much you can do with zombies. The characters were ok and I liked that the main hero character had a bit of an incident. It's not going to be dramatic like Walking Dead but good for a zombie killing gore fest.

The Strain has suspense?? It seems fairly straightforward to me, still alrite tho.

I want to know whats going on with those odd looking fella's that turned up randomly with a crossbow and started shooting things???

Ok, just watched Z Nation all the way through again and I like it. Looks like it's going to have some humour " I didn't say get eaten by a baby!"

The dialog is so bad it looks like it could make this a cult watch

    Did anyone try The Leftovers?

F*ck me that was shit. I'm a total sucker for a series which starts with a mysterious, para-normal, potentially end-of-the-world "happening" (e.g. Flashforward, Walking Dead, Lost), but I couldn't believe how bad Leftovers was.
