Not strictly telly I know - buuut

BBC4 are doing a Jo Nesbo season - started last Thursday with a Norwegian film called "Headhunters". Best daft thriller I've seen for a long time. Catch it up if you can.

Starring Rufus Sewell (John Adams), Luke Kleintank (Pretty Little Liars) and Alexa Davalos (Mob City). Executive produced by Ridley Scott (Blade Runner). Written by Amazon Studios"

Think it's just a pilot at the moment, but the ratings seem good so hopefully amazon will pick it up...
Watched it last week. Its definitely got potential and I'd like to see more but as you say its just a pilot at the moment.

I'd recommend disabling direct external access to the plex server, add a manual connection in any plex client and using a VPN for remote access... Bit of a PITA, but saves some cheeky fecker downloading all your content then deleting it
They'd have a field day if they hacked my server lol

Watched pilots of Backstrom and The Man in the High Castle today, both promising.

Just finished the first Backstrom. I thought it was very good, a great selection of characters. I think I'll be continuing with it.

Can anyone tell me why US tv schedules are so bloody random? There are huge breaks in seasons or shows are moved to different nights for no apparent reason. As an example, Banshee is up to episode 4 tonight, and then thats it for the time being. Person of Interest occasionally has a week or two off. Blacklist starts again this Sunday and then its off to Thursdays. What the hell??

Time for a new what TV Programs to watch thread

It's mainly due to it being awards season. And the Super Bowl coming up. Agents of Shield isn't back on until March

Well that is the excuse given by the networks. Maybe advertising revenue shifts because everyone wants to spunk millions on a 30 second ad that will be forgotten

Seems the world of TV is catching up with Bluray. All the 1080p shows I'm downloading for the past few weeks have had DTS soundtracks and not Dolby 5.1

Followed by one called "jackpot" which was a bit like a Lock, Stop, sort of film. Good stuff.

*Not to be confused with the other film on Netflix called Jackpot - bit of soft porn thing...

Or confuse away if you want...

I've just checked.... not sure where you got your information from, But Banshee isn't pausing. Cinemax has it scheduled for Fri 6 Feb - 10pm EST and Episode 6 is on next week

LOL. My Seedhost automatically grabs the episodes when they become available. I don't even have to look for them anymore

The problem with the Daredevil movie was the script, the directing, and the overall cheesiness. Affleck as the character was actually ok.
