Don't think you did anything wrong. It does that on youtube for a bit when first uploaded - it usually offers full quality after an hour or two...

I suppose my Altea was too fast/Sh*t (delete as appropriate) for anyone to get any pics

You only need two tools in life - wd-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and should, use the wd-40. If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

And if you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem!

Thanks everyone for a brilliant weekend. We just about managed to get to the ferry on time this morning thanks to John and Jamie. Feck all energy left at the minute so I'll keep it short. Met some great people and had a blast. Will be back with the S15 next time for sure.

I only brought my 'backup' camera and one lens this time so I could travel light, but I've made a photo album on Facebook public there for whoever wants to see them.

Here's a couple. I'll get through the rest asap.

I can string more than a sentence together today

How much win in one weekend?

Thanks to Kieran and Claire, the staff and Trucker Jess for all of your hard work to make the event as awesome as it could be

Thank you to Gwyn for chauffering me there and back so I would be awake when it mattered

Thanks to Jon, Jon, Steve and Dave for helping us with our tent

Thanks to the staff and members who helped out over the weekend to make a great event team .

Finally thanks to Bert. Who did the whole weekend including 25 hard laps on a tank and a quarter of fuel. Performed great and only grumbled once on the way home. Anyone want to guess which warning light? Going to treat the little fella to some track mods....and a new number plate. *cough*

Why would it need a new numberplate? Did you hit a bird?

Nothing could have possibly happened whilst it was safely parked, surely..... Lol

Gonna grab a pair of 13x7 so to change the back one as it is supposed to be both. I asked for both as import size and dealer only did the one

I have no video and only took a handful of pictures, so here's the even smaller number of worthwhile efforts taken by my phone

    The paddock on Friday Evening:

Camp SXOC as the sun went down on Friday:

Couple of pics that came out ok on my trackwalk late Friday evening:

The smoke machine seems to work ok going by the view on Sat night

Couple of pics on Sunday morning:

    Best weekender ever.

    Highlights for me:

The track - absolutely brilliant to drive with amazing views (that I hadnt actually noticed until an early afternoon sighting lap, concentrating much?)
The driving - some really fast work from some people, less so from others but the etiquette was exceptional, I was out teaching Tasha a lot and every single car waited until she was letting them past before going
The comedy - Giblets rubber cock, Deacons cock in a bun, the singing, the dancing, Clint suddenly appearing totally bollock nekkid and running around like a loon, his brother dressing like the Stig to DJ (obviously), the ninja missions at 2am on Monday morning to fill peoples tents with smoke, the smoke machine in general, Clive getting slight oversteer problems and hearing the marshalls "discussing it" on the walkie talkie, oh, and this the night before:

The enjoyment: great company and great food, superb track banter with various other cars, 350Z behaving impeccably but the best fun for me was discovering that Tashas MR2 can drift, I couldnt get the smile off my face - the marshals even joined in by waving this black flag at me!!
This was shot by Dan from the 350Z board in his 5, you can almost see the smile in my crashhelmet, 2.30 and about 4.00 are worth a look

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=nMMaE74-zqk

Ive already said if anyone has a pic of the MR2 sideways with smoke coming off the tyres Id pay £20 .......

Thanks: Too many to mention but Madda and Carli for putting me up so I got the Valleys rather than the M6 to drive, Trucker Jess for bringing the van, Cornwall and team for the food, ***** for cleaning out the fridge I hadnt emptied 4 weeks ago at Le Mans , Steve and Amy for manning the cocktail bar, everyone involved in the Its a Knockout and Sin Bin challenges for some of the best entertainment all weekend, the girls for provided boobs for us to stare at, Kev Falco for an excellent bit of DJ'ing Sat night and Stretch Ballstrong for Sunday, the smoke machine for making many laughs and fooling the fire brigade (dont ask, I wont tell you), the missus for letting me abuse her MR2 and only being a bit angry about it .........

........ but mainly to Kieran and Claire - Anglesey moved the goalposts on us a few times in the run up but other than a little worrying Keiran took it in his stride, and the way the event ran so smoothly was a testament to the work and effort he put into planning, there was also some exceptional negotiation with the organisers who continued trying to move the goalposts after we had arrived (sound familiar?)
Astonishing effort guys, take a week off and we can start planning the next one

    Cheers to: Madda and Carli

    Awesome pics folks

I think it's only fair that I apologise for my wanton disregard for your collective safety over the weekend, I will say that I had a great time and I hope you all enjoyed it too.

The SXOC really are a fantastic group of people, I love you all!

Just out of interest, did anyone get any of the Juan Sheet S14a on track?

Just a few phone efforts from me until I sort through the proper ones...
