I want to go and bike shop this weekend. I have no ****ing idea what I want though. Could be fun
That's gonna be great arry, any idea what style you want though?
Sell first
Write down a list of what you need from the bike and your budget then buy the first bit of overpriced bling you see
Something different is all I need.
Potentially KTM.
Rc8 or some sort of hypertard
I want a go on an rc390
Ok guy's,time to give the R1 a clean and cover her up for winter. Anything I should do to the bike as it will be sitting for a number of months untouched ?
May aswell post up a few pics before it goes away. Not long back from a 400 mile trip to my favourite place. Eilean Donan Castle in Scotland.

I'd wash it thoroughly
if the roads are dry, go for a short ride to get all the water off (I usually go to the petrol station and fill the tank)
Put it in a dry shed/garage
After its cool spray with Scottoiler FS365 especially if there is any chance of damp in the shed/garage
Attach to a trickle feeder or remove battery
Cover with a breathable indoor cover
Is it better to keep a full tank of fuel in the bike while it's sits for a few months ?
The scottoiler FS365... I know you do not spray on tyres, discs or calipers but do you spray it on the plastics, hoses ect. Just wondering as it says you can.
Do you start the bike every so often ?

I don't spray it on the plastics deliberately as there is no point (it aint going to go rusty, is it ?) but I don't worry if a bit goes on and I make sure it is all washed off before I run the engine.
I don't start the bike over winter. Its only 3-4 months and its on a trickle charger so why bother.
TBH, I use the scottoiler stuff on my car suspension more than on the bike but that's because my bike is in a bone dry garage at the moment so it doesn't need it. No damp = no corrosion as long as the bike is clean and dry when it goes away.
I always fill my bikes with fuel so they don't go rusty inside. A bit pointless on the Aprilia as it has a plastic tank

Im thinking of buying a set of aftermarket levers for my bike. Who's got what ?
Oh and thinking of doing some track days 2015 :-)
I use ASV stubby levers well worth the money
