Suspension and shell could do with a re-paint.

    Good luck with it

What i found is, whatever you do, don't rush the mount's. Measure, measure and measure again!
Even when I thought I had everything sorted I still had to cut out the tacks when I noticed the engine was about 20mm too far forward

    what he said ^^^^

my engine is about 10 - 15mm too high atm because i didnt spend enough time on the mounts and the first ones bent to buggery the first time i launched it.

Well the engine is snowed in and I’ve just started a new job hence the slow progress lately. .

Cut a big ass hole out of the transmission tunnel, and have been prepping the engine bay and internals for paint.
FINALLY removed the sound deadening with a burner and wallpaper scraper, after months of putting it off. (lung capacity severely reduced!) Beefed up the bottom arm lock stops also, now that they are adjusted to the correct length.

Pics, the last one gives the game away.

In Bdc rules, when does a 'tunnel mod' become a fire wall mod???

You can pretty much do anything with the tunnel so long as the engine isnt mounted further back than the original bulkhead. Aslong as I plate it back up I should be fine.

Il be buying it from OBP direct, it may 'Look' cheaper but its how they word the options. They all sell the bits seperate, it works out nearer £600-700 tbh.
Also you can buy the universal ones but you would obviously have to cut it up to fit, and the acellerator design is different.

6-700 for a pedal box. Christ your mad. You can get them for a fraction of that from rally Desighn and they are just as good. Not as good as the AP billet ally ones etc but should be more than good enough for a drift car.

You missing the point though, those type of boxes wont fit, unless you cut under the bulkhead and mount it under the car / arch. If you do this and hit say a kerb at knockhill / lydden and 100mph then bye bye legs. The one from obp mounts rear facing into the cockpit, also have the longer pedals for 6.1ratio that also clear the steering rack, are made to fit the floorpan and come with hoses to reach the standard reservoir positions.

The prices you see listed are for the pedal box alone,
    Cylinders are 25>30£ a piece x 3
    Reservoirs are £14 a piece x 3
Hoses are 12.00/m + cost to make them up.
    Banjo Fittings are £25 each x 3
Clevis linkage and balance bar assembly with adustor are £40+

The one from OBP is actually not that bad for a bolt in job. Ive done plenty of looking into this.
Also if you take into accound the 4 drift days I lost last year due to knackered master cylinder / blocked lines, I just want it sorted for this year.
Made my own boxes in the past for my bike engined kit car and tbh wish I bought a proper one in the first place.

    Mad I may be
