Took VEMS logs in practice and now have the car re-mapped. Was over fuelling a bit and running down on power.
Had a few issues with power steering too so missed practice on the Sunday, going into the top 16 having never ran over the hill!
The pump (which is of a higher pressure than the s14 one) was popping the s13 hose to rack off, this was fixed with a few more jubilee clips temporally.
Long term fix is to stop the rack going over centre and making up some bump stops to stop the track rods as they enter the rack itself. New rods worked a treat though with no more wobble:

Huge thanks to Mark and my brother Kev for their help.
Couldn't have done it without them.

Overall looking up and making progress with the car, just need more seat time and suspension setup to accommodate the v8.

    Cheers

Here are a couple videos for anyone interested, car seems to be more front twitch without the sway bar, going to fettle a few issues for next time out in the handling department.

That must have made them last a hell of a lot longer with less camber and more than likely had more grip.

Have you managed to sort the brakes yet ?

Nope, front system has some sort of leak, works fine at first but then goes. Cant spot any leaks though: :s

Camber has made a huge difference in tyre wear and grip, only had them at 3degrees because I had the car too low and the wheels didn't fit. lol. Lesson learned.

Think ive got to the bottom of it, front brake lines run right past the manifolds on either side, I think the fluid is overheating. Bleed fine with new fluid, but after a day on track they start to go bad when out for a while, then horrendous / gone when they cool down....

Never posted the vid of my last outing:

    Brakes failed
    PAS Failed
    Throttle now sticks. lol

In the garage now for a bit of a refresh, just my back is fbar'd and I haven't been able to do anything yet.
New clutch is also on the cards and some new wheels for BDC 2014.
