    r33 gtst brakes?

Hi guys, managed to source a set of these from a breaker. I know the rear drum setup is good for locking the wheels, my question is, are the fronts worth having? Do they offer a improvement over stock calipers?

Also how difficult is it to fit the rears?

    Cheers

Yes the front is an improvement over stock as they are 296mm rather than 280. Obviously you will need the discs too but you can reuse the s14 pads (if they are good pads) as they are the same size.

    The rears are fairly easy.
There is a guide in here:
    http://www.jull.net/s14-tech-guides

A couple of things I would add to the guide
    1. File the crap out the big hole otherwise it will be to tight will make sense when you get to that point.
    2. Don't bash a hammer directly on the end of drive shaft to knock it out, it may swell then the hub nut will struggle to go on, when it does it will do a good job of messing the threads up as it goes.

Cheers for the help. Are the calipers the same then? The only benefit comes from the bigger disc?

They are Alloy instead of Cast of the standard ones, so you save on unsprung mass too.
