Is This Too Much Engine Oil?

    Hi all,

Did an engine oil change, I put in 3litres, then I used like 350-400ml of another bottle, and ran it a while, and took it for a steady spin, it sits as per the pic (just above the letter "H"), is this ok, or should I drain some out?

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for prompt reply ronron, I read the same, but I just wanted to double check, last thing I want to do is cause damage.

It isn't "loads" more, but enough for me to be paranoid lol.

That will be fine, it's only a fraction over, not like your crank will be swimming in oil.

Thanks boys, sorry I was having a little sissy panic lol.

If it feels crappy or something I can always drain a little at 'Ring (I still have more than half a litre if I drain a little too much).

    Thanks again. much appreciated.
