Just fitting an auto engine into my car ad I am really really really struggling to get the large spigot off which sits in the crank. I need to remove it to get the bronze buch in. Anyone know a good technique ?

I drilled into the one I last took out and then split it with a chisel. Tried grease in there with a socket to pressurise it but failed.
For Sale, SSQV recirc insert and magnetic sump plugs. PM me.
Fill with grease. Use a close fitting rod and whack with a hammer.
R.I.P. Jow. You brightened up our lives and are greatly missed.

Don't use grease.
Use wet tissue.. ;-)
For the large steel one ? Can see it workin with the socket way. I hve cut into it and whacked it to death with a chisel but no joy, thought about maybe cutting down the inside of it and then whacking it to death. Any other suggestions ? Maybe heat?
i used the grease method for mine and it worked a treat.
DREMMEL? with a grinding stone or tungsten cutter thingy down one side then tweek the bush in on its self with chisel or screwdriver if you must
If its well rusted and seized in there the grease or (new one on me wet tissue)methods no good, and sounds like its well chewed up any way you savage

Grease method and close fit bolt or something usually works, just try and avoid the spatters as it comes out!
Sound il
Get the grease out !!!
