That looks class, I think it the same one looking at it, just sitting the other way round to mine.
If you can get any under bonnet pics and find out if it intercooled that would be good thanks

Yeah I know how you feel. I had a rough patch when my gearbox exploded on the its first day running. it took me a few weeks to go back to it then happened again when I found out how much work it was going to be fitting the new bigger box and had to cut most of the tunnel out and make a complete gbox linkage.
When i met you you said you was just going to run stock power for a while before going turbo'd/supercharged so why not stick to that for now means you have the 1uz in. Nev @f1 moto will sell you the throwout bearing and plate that works with that plate.
Would be a shame to break the R33 means its summer its the time to enjoy it not be stuck with out a fun car to hit the b roads in
if you get stuck with anything 1uz let me know I rather have the cad files or now a place that sells them
It hard to deside what to do tbh, it's cost me alot more that I thought it would and with the currant cash flow it going to take me way to long to finish.
I don't want to cut corners and just put a unknown engine in, did that with the last SR and it gave me problems and was unreliable.
I'm just thinking it best to put the UZ to one side get the car on road and then set about building the UZ and getting it ready to just swap over.
I'm going to see what happens over next few months and go from there as I'm always changing my mind.

This is an awesome build dude. Love the way it has transformed through so many different stages. Where are you at with it now?
Ok so there has been a huge mix up now,
I've gone and bought a 200sx with a 1uz fitted, that means I'm going back to the SR!!
I know but was a impulse buy

So here it is, my impulse buy.
It basically everything I was going to do to mine except in a different body,
It got a huge spec.
It running a 1UZ V8 with R154 box using a KS racing manual conversion. Got custom manifolds into a 3" single exit
Car is running a peddle box and braided lines throughout.
Cars got 9 months mot and tax so Plan is to tidy up this car and give it paint, meanwhile ill finish my 200

I'd love to v8 my 180sx lol
Yea lol is a bit
Ok after giving it some thought I think I'm going to part ways with
My red shell
It has occurred to me that it will be easier to keep the v8 in the car it is in.
This means my original shell will be put back to a SR and the S14 kit will be fitted to that and the girlfriend will have it.
I've done a lot of work to that shell but the new one is so solid It wouldn't need slot to make it mint.
I'm swapping over the kits and front end on the weekend and will post pics
So I been thinking weather to start a new thread or not but desided to keep this one and continue. The original s14 will be moved over to a new thread that my girlfriend is going to do.
Anyway as I was going to now keep this car the first thing was to fit my front end and get the car ready for
paint.
I removed the body work to see what I had to work with
I've taken the front end off and fitted the s15 front, it will look like my original car now to most people.
Will need to fix the hole in the bonnet now ha
As I'm not blending the rear over fenders in I had the trim them around the edge
This is the job I was dreading, rubbing down the whole car ready for primer :/
Removed the doors and quarter glass this time round
Finally ready for primer
Any updates James?
Yea.ill have to upload some pics
Looking good fella
Kinda jealous of your workshop space too! I'd kill for somewhere like that. Been trying to paint my van one panel a time on my drive which is taking forever lol
