looks the part!
Ta, will hopefully work the part as well. Without going totally bonkers we've managed to create about 20mm clearance to the tyre on full lock and probably not far off that on the circumference of the wheel arch where it was rubbing on the tyre. We could have cut the entire arch out and fitted huge-ass tubs but that's wholly unecessary. The car doesn't have huge lock as it's not a drifter so we just fettled the existing metal and cut the lower corners out. Once it's been fully welded, seam sealed and painted it will look pretty stock. I'm raising the car a touch and fitting stiffer suspension for next year so hopefully the scrubbing will be eliminated.
Early Christmas present from your little man ?
Might have to steal your arch clearance idea! Running geomasters and proper width wheels causes issues and I don't want to fully tub mine.
Doing it this way means you get to keep everything that's attached to the front tubs, fuse box, overflow bottle (did move forward but still in same position) etc. Most of my scrubbing was on the top of the tyre and there aint much you can do about that. Bit of hammer work but you only gain 5-10mm. I think I'm running the car a little low so I'll be raising it a touch anyway, plus running stiffer suspension. Just hoping with wider tyres and track width I still have clearance :-S
Love the styling of this. Lovely work on the splitter too.
Looks awesome!
Let's us know how the coilovers are as well

I really like your contrasting Matt/Gloss look, really livens up an already very exciting car. Excellent stuff mate.
